Change previous owner's Apple ID?

My used iMac still has the previous owner's Apple ID on it. How can I change it?

The original owner should always do that before selling.

see > What to do before you sell, give away, or trade in your Mac - Apple Support

Now you have to skip to step #6 and follow the > erase your hard drive and reinstall macOS instructions.
