iPhone Activation lock

So recently, I bought an iPhone 6s online and when I got it, it came with an activation lock on it. When I asked the owner if they could unlock it for me, they told me that they didn't know which email they had on it. By any chance is there any way I can contact Apple to unlock the phone for me?

Well, after updating it had sent me to the activation lock screen and I managed to find the account and password, change the email to a real email, and go back to the activation lock, but it still wanted the old email. iPhone X Activation Lock Trying to unlock an old phone i had in storage. It says the email linked to the phone is not an email i have ever used or anyone in my household. I purchased it years ago so i don’t have original packaging or receipt. All i have is the phone itself. How do I get around the activation lock?

activation lock i was gifted an ipad and is linked to the owner's email for activation lock, i cant access this ipad because i cant reach at the owner. i have file a case to apple support but the follow is slow. Anyone with experience to help?

Apple generally won't unlock secondhand iPhones. Ask the seller to try each one or give you a refund.
