Verifying identity Apple Card

I have the same issue. Tried several times and it simply doesn’t recognize my driver’s license. Very frustrating and very un-Apple like. Called support and they literally have no suggestions whatsoever. Never had such a bad experience with support.

Thanks for the suggestion. I understand it’s not a person validating the info, but I’ve tried dark backgrounds (as they suggest) and also a white background. No reflections that I can tell. Unfortunately I still get the same result.

Apple support is not helpful on this common issue. Google it and you’ll see. I kept getting denied and sent my id in several times, it was valid, address matched, etc and still denied. I finally found a forum online where someone said that if you have an apt or unit number to put that on the first address line and not the second. This is an Apple system issue. That finally worked for me. Apple Support told me to call my credit bureaus and then gave me contact information to four of them. The credit bureaus have nothing to do with their denial, it was a cop out.

Make sure you are using a clean white background and that there are no reflections. It is not a person who is looking at the IDs for verification, it is a machine.

I did not have to verify my ID when I applied for Apple Card so I don't know what else you can try.

wait, did you try coating it with a thin layer of baby powder? that might sound dumb but it will take a shine away from anything.
