How to effect Line Spacing in Mail v 11.5
This topic has been raised earlier but (as far as I can see) not answered.
Is there some way to specify line, and paragraph, spacing please?

Mail was never meant to do anything other than simple ASCII text.
If formatting & such is that important send a PDF of the info.
In what app?

Based on the title my guess would be Mail.
Thanks, but what a tedious work-around!
There is no tedium involved when you realize that Apple Mail behaves as BDAqua and I explained.

Those various replies helped me to understand the system better!
The topic has been raised about introducing line-spacing in Apple Mail, and the answers have been that no — Apple Mail does not support line spacing. You can construct a block of text in TextEdit or Pages, set the line-spacing as preferred, and upon copy/paste into Mail, the line spacing is simply ignored. So is copy/paste of styles too.
Recipient email clients do not guarantee that their presentation of content will match what you sent anyway.
