I am trying to stream Netflix from my iPhone 8 to my MacBook Air 2017 but I cannot change the setting attached below. I also cannot find my MacBook on my iPhones airplay to stream to.

Hi jtt1234, thanks for the support but for this does my MacBook Air need to be newer than the 2017 model? If not how do I do this? Also do you know why I can't change the 'AirPlay Display' setting to on. Thanks.
Unfortunately, Apple does not support Airplay from an iPhone to a MacBook. However if your mac has Catilina installed you can use an iPad as a screen extender and a screen mirror.
