logic pro x upgrade wont work

You have to press cancel as often as you are asked by logic. If ultrabeat is looking for 100 samples, you may press 100 times cancel. Watch the display, the name of the sample should change.

"8. Delete user preferences" may help.

The instruction is meant to be the user folder. I recommend to make a zip file of any file you want to delete and put it on your desktop.

It seems, you tried to open an old logic song, with some missing ultrabeat samples. and now, logic tries to open and save the song in a new format but can't find the samples.

• "skip" or "cancel" the ultrabeat message(s) until the song opens.

• you should be able now to save (File -> save) and to close the song (File -> Close project) and to open a new song from the menu (File -> New).

• I recommend to adjust the preferences, not to "open the most recent project" at startup.

Logic Pro X -> Preferences -> General -> Project Handling -> Startup Action

Does this also happen, when you open logic without opening a song?

Is there another window open, which prevents logic from continuing?
