Is a cracked screen still available to be fixed under warranty similar to previous models? It used to be a small excess not the £200 you now have to pay.
I'm getting mixed information from sites and apple themselves.

Cracked screens caused by accidental damage have NEVER been replaced under warranty unless the crack was proven to be caused by manufacturing defect, which is most uncommon and very difficult to prove. The link provided above explains the prices.
Yeah thanks. Got it. But also, it did use to be replaced under warranty as I've replaced the screen for iPhone 4 and 5 under warranty previously that were accidental damage. I just haven't owned an iPhone since then and wasn't sure about the new models. :)
If you had your screen replaced under warranty, someone was being very kind to you. iPhone warranty has NEVER covered accidental damage. Never.
Accidental damage is not covered by the standard warranty.
Maybe you had Apple Care Plus on your older devices. It does cover for accidents and theft or loss.
