iTunes match not working

After recent upgrade (sync library is on), however music added is greyed out on MacBook and devices.

Upgrade from what to what? If you've upgraded to Catalina you may need to reauthorized your computer. See Identify cloud status icons in your music library on your Mac or PC - Apple Support. Any clues there as to what is going on?
