the Aa format tab is not showing in Notes on my ipad and iphone

My notes app is not showing the Aa tab for formatting. I cannot add bullets to sub notes or change the font

Hello,

Please verify that the Shortcuts Bar is enabled in Settings > General > Keyboard.
