using office 2010 0n Catalina
I was been using a licensed 2010 Microsoft Office product that I had purchased and now I can't use it, and redirect me to the App Store. What can I do?

So, "bought the product earlier," for you is 7 years ago you bought a version of Office introduced 8 years ago. And, because Microsoft didn't see fit to provide a free upgrade to a 64 bit version, that it's some how Apple's fault? Best of luck to you.
The upgrade to Catalina was your choice and you can revert to Mojave from your backup, or buy replacements for your out of date and now unsupported Office.
However I doubt you came from Mojave as Office 2011 was a mess on Mojave
Microsoft Office versions 2016 (updated), 2019, and 365 work with Catalina. Your option is to upgrade to one of the compatible versions of Office.
Office 2010 isn't a Mac compatible software, perhaps you mean Office 2011. Office 2011 is a 32 bit software and won't function with Catalina. Catalina requires the use of 64 bit software.
buying a new product when I already bought the product earlier is not a real good answer
and it was 2011, sorry
So, the next question would be why and how did you just purchase Office 2011 when Office 2016 has been available for the last 3 years?
The answer is that I bought it in 2012
Nowhere in my post did I blame Apple for anything, My question was whether there was a work around solution. I am not sure you should have taken it so personal.
There is a work around. Buy a new version that IS 64-bit or subscribe to Office 365. You're other alternative is to go with the free Libre Office.
Thanks resolved
