Magsafe2 charger problem

Hello guys,

I've a macbook air 13" late 2017 with a broken 45W 14,5 volt magsafe 2 charger...

Can I use the macbook pro 60W 16,5 volt magsafe 2 charger with my mb air ?

I'm afraid of voltage difference ....

Thanks for your answers (and sorry for my poor English, I'm writing from Europe)

Yes you can use the larger power adapter. If you replace the broken power adapter I would suggest purchasing the larger one so if anything happens to the MBPro charger you can still charge & use the MBPro.

Uh? who talked about 3rd party charger....

I've one ORIGINAL BROKEN 45W charger of my macbook air.

I've one ORIGINAL WORKING 60W charger of my son's macbook pro.

Both have magsafe 2.

I just need to know if I can use my son's ORIGINAL MACBOOK PRO charger with my macbook air without burning it.

This is cause APPLE says that we can use an higher power in support pages but it doesn't explain anything about voltage differences... 45W is 14,5 volt and 60W is 16,5 volt. I am talking about ORIGINAL APPLE chargers with magsafe 2.

Please, can someone help me in this?
