I use command+t and command+w a lot and it would flow a lot if I could add another shortcut like command+o or something to open a certain website for information and quickly press command+w right after. I was wondering how would I add such a shortcut are there any free softwares that can help?
it's fairly easy to write an AppleScript to open a new tab. You could write this as a service under Automator to make it available under the Services menu. You can then assign it a keyboard shortcut via System Prefences.
Save this service, then use System Preferences to enable it in Safari and assign a key combination. Note that Command-O is a really bad idea since that's a standard key combination for 'Open...'. But it's your call.

"You can create keyboard shortcuts only for existing menu commands. You can’t create keyboard shortcuts for general purpose tasks, such as opening an app.
If you create a keyboard shortcut that already exists for another command or another app, your new shortcut won’t work—you need to change your new shortcut or the other shortcut. To change a shortcut, select it, click the key combination, then press a new key combination."
While you may not be able to create an app shortcut to open an app or a website, you might check out the App Store to see if there's any available that would do something similar: Download apps and games from the App Store. You can also send feedback directly to Apple: Product Feedback
