Rename file/folder not working correctly on iPadOS Files app

I’ve noticed that whenever I try to add a new folder or rename a file/folder the “Name” field is like hidden and I can’t see what the input im doing for the name. Here is one sample image and with the arrow im pointing to where it seems to be but its like hidden. Only the beginning and end selectors are shown. If I input the name, even though I’m not seeing what im writing, and press “return” whatever I wrote get added so I know its working even though its hidden.


I already tried doing a factory reset on the iPad with same results. I’m running iPadOS 13.2, but this started since I installed iPadOS. Also, on my iPhone (IOS 13.2) seems to be working correctly. Anyone else with this issue?

I have not seen anyone else having this problem. Does this only occur when using iCloud Drive or does it occur with any location in Files?


This is not a known problem. With a new operating system bugs can appear without Apple's knowledge. I ask that you please submit a bug report, using the following link, so Apple can address it in a future system update.
