The Apple pay icon does not appear in messages.

Open a message and in the icon slider swipe until you get to the far right and the three dots, tap edit, add Apple Cash.

Yes to all above. I was able to complete the transaction using Siri but, how do I get the Apple pay icon to show up in messages?
