I don’t see the Apple Pay icon
Using iMessage, I don’t see the pay icon. (I have a card on wallet)

Open Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay > and make sure "Apple Cash" is toggled on. This should make Apple Pay available to use in iMessage. Note; you can only use a debit card account via iMessage to send / receive money. This is not currently possible with a credit card through Apple Pay.
