IOS 13.2 Hotspot Connectivity

My wife and I just upgraded the software to IOS13.2 last night, and this morning we can not use our Hot-spot to gain internet access on our kid's kindle's. To clarify the hot-spot connects via Bluetooth as normal but it says no internet connection. This is an iphone issue as nothing has changed on the Kindles. Both have been restarted, and I have reset network on my iphone. Does anyone have a solution for this?

Ok may have found a fix, its seems to be working for me using hotspot from my phone to connect to my Android Head unit in the car.

I first checked that my Personal Hotspot was on in settings:-

Then I did a long press on the wifi symbol in control center and discovered that although the above is on the personal hotspot is "Not Discoverable"

Pressing the Personal hotspot button turns it green and for the first time since IOS13 I have a working hotspot connection.

The downside appears that if there is no connections to the hotspot it automatically turns itself off. You then have to go through the whole process again.

Hotspot not connecting/no internet problem started with 13.1 (continues with 13.2) Many others having similar problems with same and different devices. A nice community person gave a work around that works for my Roku. I have to reset my network settings on my device, to completely clear out any old networks or my house WiFi. On my phone I turn off WiFi and “auto join” under WiFi, then activate the hotspot. It opens a window to turn on wifi which I click. I then scan for networks on my device and sign into the hotspot. This will work unless I sign into a network other than my hotspot. If I sign into my house WiFi on that device I have to do all the steps over again! ANNOYING!!! Apple support hemmed and hawed two weeks ago when I spoke to them after dealing with it for days prior. I am really disappointed that 13.2 did not fix this. Come on Apple!!

Hotspot won’t connect to internet?! So what exactly is the purpose of the mobile hotspot on the Apple products if it is not able to connect to a WiFi enabled device? These devices can connect to a variety of public and private WIFI networks. Honestly I think you got a Bozo agent. And I’m starting to believe Apple may be a clown organization. Very sad. When I called about my Roku not connecting after 13.1 I was told they knew about the problem and were working on it (still not working, 3 updates later, so maybe the same Bozo). I’m told 13.3 doesn’t fix it. I’m going on a trip soon and won’t be installing any more updates, until I return. Thanks for building my confidence, Apple. I am using a work-around, not ideal. Now, I’m waiting for 14.0. For the money, we deserve better as customers.

I am in the same boat, using Iphone 6s and Chrome books. It connects, automatically disconnects after 3 seconds then won't reconnect. No matter what workarounds I do, it won't reconnect. I use hot spots for business in the community and not everywhere we go has free Wifi. It's literally ruining my team's productivity and it's going on two months now with no resolution in sight. If it were that easy to switch to android, I would in two seconds.
