Mailbox Does Not Exist Error Continues to Pop Up

Hi, I recently updated to Catalina on my Mac and when I open Mail, I continue to get this pop up error message and I can't seem to get it to go away. I cannot rebuild the mailbox or do ANYTHING in Mail because the pop up enables any features in Mail. Here is the error below-

Mail was unable to open this mailbox on the server “p36-imap.mail.me.com”.

The server returned the error: Mailbox does not exist

Yes someone please help. The same thing happened to me after upgrading to Catalina. This as annoying as I have to force quite the mail app everytime and can't move my emails to the mailbox folders where they have to be once processed...
