I have shape (rectangle) in which I have text that has different colors for different words.
I want to lower the opacity of a couple of lines of text but leave it 100% on other lines.
The problem is that when I change the opacity of a text line which contains words with multiple colors, all of the words become one color.
How do I keep the colors in tact?

Use separate text box layer over one another as needed
you can also use the text color pallet to set opacity:
That would might a minor nightmare to have to do and align constantly. Sounds like Keynote is a bit behind PowerPoint in terms of features if that's the only way. That's be too bad. I kind of like Keynote's experience better.
Thank you. Unfortunately, it still has the same effect of wiping out all the colors if text with multiple different colors is highlighted.
