No Video Output Mac Pro Eight Core 2007

I have a Mac Pro Eight Core 2007 which isn’t given out any video output but the entire unit is booting up perfectly fine and I can still control things like the disk tray through the keyboard while it is powered on so it is starting up fine.

I have now tried 2 different graphic cards and I just spent last night installing a new motherboard which is still doing the same issue as before. The monitor I am using for this worked with this machine before and it is also being used on a windows PC so it isn’t the monitor and another monitor has been tried and again the same problem.

The diag button on the board is showing the usual green leds and nothing out of the ordinary. What else could I try as I’m not out of ideas 😩

Each DVI interface will have its own high-power drivers to send data at high speeds. Don't give up on the card until you have tried both ports.

(The reverse is also true: DO give up on the card when you find that neither port is producing a picture.)

It still sounds like the graphics card.

The one you are showing appears to be caked with dust. That does not help it stay cool, and when they get hot, they die.

The graphics card is still powering up and staying on, the fan is spinning on it. Do you think I could have 2 bricked cards as it’s doing the same with both? The second one I bought of a trusted eBay seller of electrical parts. Came in original box and everything.

I have a small stack of used cards where one or another interface has failed, but others keep working. I do not find your description the slightest bit encouraging. I think that at least the interface you are trying to use has failed.
