Catalina - Pages needs to download fonts issue.

I recently installed Catalina. Every time I open Pages and Numbers I get this popup window. I have tried many times by clicking download for all the different fonts names that popup (about 20). They don't install properly. They are all greyed out in my Font Book and when I try to install or edit these font families in Font Book no success there either. How can I fix this issue?

Hello drewmac1977,

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to download fonts for Pages on your Mac, as they don't install and other steps you have tried didn't help. First, try booting to safe mode as it can clear out font cache issues.

Log in to your user account and test the issue while in safe mode and then restart normally and test the issue again.

Use safe mode to isolate issues with your Mac

Graphics performance limited in macOS Recovery, safe mode, or Guest User mode

Cheers!
