Notes App "No additional Text" and notes lost

In the last few months, the Notes App has lost notes. They come up for a while with the correct title, but with the message, "No additional Text" below it. Eventually the notes come back, but I will have lost some text. The last time I lost a couple days of text.

Definitely I go in and out of connectivity. Definitely I refer to and add from various devices - ipads, phones, and macbook pros, all plural.

This is really bad. The Notes app is a nice way to keep notes in the cloud without having to synch my entire computer in the cloud, which I do not like to do. If it is not very, very dependable, however, it is pretty much useless. Previous to Notes, I had all my professional notes on a wiki. The problem was that I am out of connectivity often, and then I have nothing. So it will be a huge bummer to go back to that. Apple, can you please solve the lack of dependability problem? What did you do in the last ~6 months that allows the app to overwrite or otherwise lose notes?

Thanks,

TPC
