MacBook Pro Completely Dead

My MacBook Pro is completely dead. I have tried charging it but nothing.

I have also noticed the mouse pad no longer clicks, like its flat!

I took it to an Apple Service Provider and they said the Motherboard is fried, but i have no idea how or why that could have happened, any ideas?

I hope Apple will be able to fix it?

Hi,

I suppose your MacBook Pro could be fried by battery related issue. You should open bottom case and see your battery blows up or not.

Not sure which model of MacBook Pro is yours, though you'd better contact Apple support or make Genius Bar reservation to talk about replacing logic board cost.

Hi Kaz-K, I have a a 13 inch MacBook Pro with Touch Bar and increased GB and Htz processing.

I took it to an authorised Apple Service Centre, they ran a test and just came back saying the motherboard (Logicboard) was fried.

I will be taking it to Apple, however just frustrated as to how it has happened as it only a 3 months old and has never been dropped or damaged what so ever so it’s very annoying.

Thanks for the response, I will let Apple remove the bottom to see investigate further as soon as I can get I to an Apple store.
