strong wifi connection but intermittent internet on MacBook Pro

HI all, after the recent update I've been having problem loading anymore than 2-3 pages before the internet freezing up despite having a strong wifi connection. Other devices (iPhone and iPad as well as windows devices) connected to the same network have no issues what so ever loading as many pages it wants. I've tried different Wifi networks and connection via Ethernet but the issue persists.

I've tried resetting PRAM/NVRAM/SMC, Checking for proxy settings, reconfiguring DNS settings, and renewing DHCP leases but no luck.....

Any suggestions or if anyone else have had similar problem please let me know.

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand you are having issues connecting to the internet with your MacBook Pro after updating. Did you update to macOS Catalina? You've done some great troubleshooting so far. You should have a better internet connection with Ethernet than Wi-Fi. Here are a few more troubleshooting steps to try to address this issue:

If your Mac doesn't connect to the Internet over Wi-Fi - be sure to recycle the power to your modem/router.
Try adding a new network location - How to use network locations on your Mac
Create a new user account and test - How to test an issue in another user account on your Mac
