iPhone 8 after latest update

I’m having heaps of trouble with my phone since I’ve updated. Most of the apps won’t open or if they do then they freeze. I’m having to access most things thru safari now. Very frustrating

Have you tried a reboot or reset? Press both Home button and On/Off button until you see Apple Logo, then release the buttons. This action sometimes clears glitches and you will not lose any data so it is worth a try.

I'm sorry my reply misled you. The reset routine for the iPhone 8 is quickly press and release Volume Up button, then quickly press and release Volume Down button, then press and hold the right side button ignoring the slide button until the device restarts. The routine changed with iPhone 8, but the result is the same and you will not lose any data. It's worth a try...
