When importing prerecorded music into Tunes my external CD burner gets stuck on certain tracks of the CD

When importing prerecorded music into Tunes my external CD burner gets stuck on certain tracks of the CD
Perhaps the CDs are damaged, or your CD reader isn't working well.
You could try turning on the error correction feature to see if that helps. In iTunes, click on Edit/Preferences/General and on the General tab, click on Import Settings. On the Import Settings pane, which looks like the one shown below, click on the box named Use error correction when reading Audio CDs:
