Mac Ms office 2011 - Not working

Hi there,


I was perched ms word 2011, it was working good. after update macos catalina i cant open ms word or excel, “Microsoft Word” needs to be updated. i tried to update in app store but cant update it. it shows purchered ( https://apps.apple.com/gb/app-bundle/microsoft-office-365/id1450038993?mt=12 ),

i would like to share you the screenshot also










Please give me the solution it ll be very help full.

You will either have to downgrade to the version of macOS you were running before Catalina, upgrade Office to Office 2019 or buy an Office 365 subscription, or find an alternative.


Office 2011 is obsolete. It is no longer supported by Microsoft and is not compatible with Catalina at all.

The oldest version of Office that will run on Catalina is Office 2016.
