That will not appear in the status bar on the iPhone XR. You will have to swipe down Control Center to see it. There just isn't enough room in the status bar to show all of those icons.

The alarm icon disappeared from the upper right corner of the home screen with the introduction of the iPhone X in 2017. Lack of space because of the notch. My iPhone X doesn't show it on the home screen, and there's no setting in iOS to change this. My old iPhone SE, for example, still shows an alarm icon. Regards, Ian.
No. The clock app is there. It’s the small alarm clock icon at the top right side of screen once an alarm has been set, so you know you have an alarm set.
You meant the builtin Clock app is gone?
Sorry, I was too slow...didn't catch your post! I never think to check for a set alarm in the CC, I just swipe right and see the next set alarm in the Notifications Centre! Regards, Ian.
