Why doesn’t Books app keep my documents and books downloaded? I downloaded them couple of days ago, but when I open the app without network access, my books are not downloaded. I download them after that again, when I have access to internet, but they disappear after a while. I’m encountering this all the time and this makes the app unusable.

Maybe there is no enough free storage space on your device. So the system have to delete some of your data to keep your device running properly.
