Group chat not working

I’m in a group chat and I only get messages from one person in the group chat but other people are sending messages in it. How did this happen and how do I fix it?

Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities. It sounds like you're having trouble with the group chat on your iPhone. I'd be happy to provide information that may help.


From what you've described, your messages may be sending using Group SMS. Under Settings > Messages on your iPhone, be sure to have both Group Messaging and MMS Messaging enabled. You can find more details here: Send a group message on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
