your website came up saying I had a virus I tried useing Mac clean up pro but it I need Mac OS X 10.7 but I have Mac OS X 10.6.8

It was lying in an attempt to trick you into downloading useless software, or calling a bogus tech support line operated by criminals.
You do not need to do either of those things.

That pop up telling you that you had a virus was a scam. There isn't a way yours computer can be monitored to see if you have a virus.
