i have been trying to connect my NTFS hard disk to ipad pro running ipad os . But the hard disk doesnt show up on files. Is there any way this would work?
If it is not supported, is there any chance NTFS support will come in future updates ?

NTFS is not supported by iPadOS/iOS13.x. The only supported cross-platform formats are the common FAT, FAT32 and exFAT (aka. FAT64).
As for future support for NTFS, we have no idea However, given that NTFS is essentially a “Microsoft” format, it might be a reasonable bet to surmise that future support is unlikely.
