How do I log extra exercise into my activity on a Series 3 watch?

I'm new to the Apple Watch and have a Series 3. I'm coming from a Fitbit and with that tracker I was able to add/log a workout I had done when I wasn't wearing it. You could add it on the phone app. Is there anything like that on the version of the watch I have or any subsequent version? If so, how? Thanks in advance.

In the Health App tap on the browse tab at the

bottom then tap activity and scroll down to workouts

then tap on workouts and in the the top right hand

corner of the screen it says add data, tap on that and

you can enter a new workout and when you're finished tap on add at the top right of the screen.

Be aware though that this has no effect on your 3 rings,it just adds the data to your totals in the health app.
