No Data Connection While Signal Full Bars - iPhone 11 Pro

This is happening every single day - the iPhone 11 pro will lose data connection for all apps/services while the signal is showing full bars. Switching off and on cellular data or airplane mode won't fix.

The only way to bring back data connection is to restart iPhone or conduct a network reset (or system reset).

Anyone else experiencing the same issue?

Any solution to fix this?

Thanks!

Good evening dongwenxuan,

Welcome to the Apple Support Communities!

I understand you are having issues with the cellular data connection on your iPhone 11 Pro. Are you having any issues with making or receiving phone calls? Here are a few additional troubleshooting steps you can try:

  • If you haven't done so already, please update your iPhone to iOS 13.2.2.
  • Check to see if your carrier has an update as well.
  • Restart your device.
  • Make sure Low Data Mode is not enabled.
  • Then go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings - Please note that this also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings that were used before.

Update your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

Update your carrier settings on your iPhone or iPad

Please reply to this thread if the issue persists after trying the steps above, and I'll do my best to help you with this!

Take care.

Some updates here:

I reached out to the Apple Support and received a replacement phone. I updated the iOS to the latest version, restore the phone through iTunes and set it as a new phone.

However, the same issue happened the second day I activated the replacement phone.

Now I am thinking this is an iOS issue (unless both phones had same defectives).

As for the carrier side, I've changed the SIM card and the issue stayed the same before and after the sim card change.

Pleases advise for the next step as this is really annoying (data randomly dropped without knowing and have to restart the phone every day )...
