iPhone 11- green lines

Same. It is still occuring and even has gotten worse after I DFU restored my phone twice and updated all the apps and software. I guess it's not going away anytime soon. We have to have it checked by authorized apple service providers. ☹️

I brought my phone to the apple store and they said, my screen had to be replaced 🤔 since i only had the phone for 2 months- returned it to amazon and requested a refund, will reorder 🙈

Update. I think it's messenger bug because one of my friend has 11 pro max one of them iphone 11 one is europian version other american so, there phones didn't have any issues but after messenger update ( when you can react heart in messenger conversation) in their phones appears green line when opening messenger camera and it disappears in one second. there was tested other apps ( snapchat, viber whatsup etc. non of that app's camera had the same issue.

Hello everyone. For those who are having the same issue as mine: Just so you know, I sent my iPhone, covered by warranty, for repair on an authorized apple service provider last week. After a day, the technician informed me that they had ran diagnostics on my phone and their next step was to replace the screen to see if it was a display problem so I needed to wait for a few days more. A week had passed they called me to say that even if they had replaced the screen of my unit, the flickering green horizontal bar on messenger still occurs and they found out it wasn't a hardware defect but a software issue instead. They advised me to update to iOS 14 as soon as it comes out for the bug to disappear. So guys, no need to panic (though I'm pretty sure there will be lots of new bugs coming out too on the new software version. Haha. Kidding ✌🏻) At least we know there is nothing wrong with the hardware our phone.

This happened to me today, I was using the Facebook Messenger App. From the other replies here it seems to be an app issue. I've never had a problem yet using just the normal camera, and I'll be keeping an eye on it using Snapchat and Messenger from now on.

Hoping it's just the apps, my phone is new, and has never been dropped.

this happened to me too. i took a snap on snapchat and out of nowhere there was the exact same green lines as above, it’s never happened before i have the phone since november and have only dropped it once or twice but was never serious. can someone tell me why this happened?

Is this hardware issues or messenger bug?

Hello I have such issue here. I have iPhone 11 pro max brand new. when I turn on camera on messenger green line appears on the right side of screen only 1 second and than disappears . The strange thing is that it only happens on messenger camera and only some time. it never happens on whatsup or viber or on camera app. any solutions?

that’s exactly what happened to mine, it happened once or twice but now it seems to be happening more frequently especially when I take Snapchat’s. I’ve only dropped my phone once but it wasn’t serious and it’s never come into contact with any liquids. I’ve had my phone since December of last year. I think it may be a hardware problem but with a phone this new I am not entirely sure, could someone help me out please

This has happened to me 3 times in the past week. Got my iPhone 11 in the middle of Nov. and up until last week it’s never happened. I haven't dropped it in water or dropped it at all for that matter.

I have two examples. The first one is from using the camera on Brainly and the second one is snapchat.

I have this problem with a brand new iPhone as well. It didn't happen too often at first but after having the phone for roughly six months, I have noticed it happening more frequently. It isn't just a Facebook Messenger glitch. This happens to me on snapchat. I think it has something to do with the 11 camera.

Have you guys found a solution? Mine is also green but looks like this. It only happens in Messenger app too whenever I watch videos and view stories and GIFs. It is getting frequent now. Please help!!!

Oki so my iPhone 8 Plus camera is messed up them green lines appear and I can’t fix it and my iPhone is out of warrant so I don’t know what to do because it’s just on normal camera and video them lines appear but when it’s on portrait mode or the front camera them lines don’t appear thanks

I had this too and my phone was new! green appears on the top part of the screen as well and screen goes unresponsive sometimes but only the upper half. Will Apple replace the phones with this kind of issue? Is it a defect?
