I’m hoping this is software related. Anyone else experiencing this issue? Left in photo.

Hello MacGuy1981,
We understand you're experiencing some green lines when taking photos with your iPhone 12 Pro Max. We'd be happy to help.
To clarify, is this only when taking photos at night? Is this happening in all camera modes you attempt to use?
Also, let's check to be certain this isn't expected behavior which can be caused when light reflects off the device at certain angles as outlined here:
If you see a flare, haze, or spot near the edge of your photo or video
We hope this information helps out and keep us posted on what you find out to isolate things further.
Take care!
Hi CarlAVll
This seems to happen in low light situations. You mainly see the issue on the left side of the camera app and on the photo itself.
issue only happens on the main camera and all photo and video modes. I even tired changing resolutions and frame rates. Issue is still there.
you can see it in the photo I posted.
This happens to me every so often until I hard restart the phone. First time I experienced it was new year’s eve on my iphone 12 pro max. I thought my phone was busted until I rebooted. I can trigger it sometimes when switching between the 3 lenses (.5x / 1x / 2.5x). Or when it adjusts in exposure automatically from bright to sudden dark. But this sucks for such an expensive and supposedly premium device. Green lines appear more pronounced at the top of the screen by the ear piece but also present at the bottom. (Left and right edges if oriented on landscape)
MacGuy1981,
If the information in the resource above didn't help out with this behavior, it could be normal behavior for this particular circumstance.
It'd probably be best to reach out to Apple Support to be certain though using the following link:
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
Take care!
Regardless of camera feature.. day or night... Doesn't matter which app... snap, insta, whatever uses the camera causes this issue... Harder to see in light.
