Settings for Apple Music Files

Anyone out there!!!

Hi, If anyone is familiar with XLD Audio Converter for Mac I would appreciate the output settings for the equivalent of AAC downloaded files from the Apple Music app.

Output format = MPEG-4 AAC

Mode = True VBR.

Sample Rate = 44100 Hz.

Target bitrate = 256 kbps.

Target quality = 110.

Are these settings good or does someone have better suggestions for the settings.

Eagerly awaiting anyone's suggestions.

Burning Redbook CD from 24-bit WAV Files in Apple Music? Hello - I recently purchased an album on Bandcamp, and chose to download the files as WAVs. I've now added them to a playlist in Music, and just realized these files are: Sample Rate: 44.1 Khz Bits per sample: 24 So when I want to burn this playlist to a CD, I'm wondering if Music will automatically convert these files to standard Redbook CD 16 bit / 44.1 kHz, or if I need to prepare the files first? I just searched online (and in this forum), and didn't see an answer to this question ... Incidentally, I'm pretty surprised Bandcamp only has 24-bit WAV files for this release, since presumably the main reason to download WAVs is for burning CDs! Thanks for your help, Jim

Can't convert my apple music to MP3 format in spite of following directions from Apple support I either imported or bought most of my music in the days of iTunes. With the updated Mac OS (I now have Big Sur) and the movement of all the music to the new Music App, I now can't seem to convert any of my songs to MP3 format in spite of changing import settings in the Preferences menu to MP3. When I highlight the song desired and choose the Convert To> menu item, the choice for MP3 format is inactive (greyed out). Any suggestions?

convert apple music files to mp3 in Music on Mac I followed the Apple instructions to convert music files that I have bought to mp3 but when I get to the last step: "Select one or more songs in your library, then choose File > Convert > Create [format] Version" the file formats are greyed out so not available to choose.
