Issues with Reminders app since upgrading to iOS13/Catalina

Fully update your iOS/iPadOS v13 devices to the most recent updates. Update Catalina to 10.15.1. Then double-check your macOS and iOS/iPadOS iCloud settings for Reminders. Revisit your issues and see which have been remedied by the updates.

I was going to post exactly the same question. Notification of Reminders in Catalina are broken. As you wrote in Mojave and every other macOS before this you clicked on the notification and it took you directly into the actual reminder, opened it and it was ready to make changes to it. In Catalina clicking on the notification opens the Reminders app but doesn't do anything else. You are just left sitting there looking at the first reminder on the list. You have to search for the reminder if you want to do something to it. This is a Catalina problem, iOS 13 works as it should when you click on a Reminders notification (it opens the actual reminder).

I am using macOS Catalina 10.15.1 (fresh install) and all my iDevices are running the latest iOS / iPadOS 13.2.2 and watchOS 6.1.

I have more than 88 iCloud active reminders and 3136 completed ones (I have been using Reminders since 2011).

How can we resolve this issue? I wish Apple could respond to this. Thank you.

Follow up on my previous post: I reported this issue to Apple support using chat. The advisor told me that it would probably be repaired in the next Catalina update as the developers were unaware of this problem.

Let's hope that this become true as it is the only issue I have noticed until now with Catalina
