Ideas, yes - lots of possibilities - including but not limited to:
- Have you put your new iPad Pro in a case, a folio cover, or a Smart Keyboard? All these can potentially affect signal reception.
- Consider the WiFi band(s) that your network and device are using. It can sometimes be helpful to “split” your 2.4GHz and 5GHz networks on your home router - and force your iPad to use on or other band by preference. If your router is using a common SSID for both bands, then your iPad will try to decide which to use - which might not be the best option.
- Try resetting your iPad Network Settings. This will often resolve unexpected throughput issues.
- You might (unlikely) have a hardware fault on your iPad.
