I don't have the 'name' option when I try to rename my bluetooth devices on my iphone

I have 2 bluetooth speakers with the same name so I want to change the name that my iphone use to identify them when I try to connect. I found on the support page that there is a name option that is not available in my iphone, neither my ipad.

Not all devices can be renamed. That's a feature of the device itself.

What is strange is that I was able to rename it in my Mac. I understand that I am not renaming the device name, just the alias used in a particular device to identify it, so I thought it doesn't depend on the bluetooth device features.
