Thanks for coming to Apple Support Communities for help today with syncing an audiobook in Catalina to an iPod.

In Catalina, you will be syncing through Finder: Use the Finder to sync your iPhone, iPad, or iPod with your computer.

Your audiobooks are now in the Apple Books app: Read books and more with Apple Books.
