Low volume on an iPhone 8 through Bluetooth Headphones, but fine on an iPad
When playing any audio (e.g. Youtube, Spotify, Netflix, etc.) through my bluetooth headphones (SteelSeries Arctis 3 Bluetooth), the audio is very quiet. Even on maximum volume, it is still too quiet to comfortably listen to. However, on my iPad Air 3, it is a comfortable volume at just over half of max (when using bluetooth). The volume is fine when using wired headphones; the headphones are definitely not the problem - it's the phone.
Is there any way to fix this?
Changing the equalizer or the volume limit (which is already at max) only causes the audio to start clipping, not get any louder, and changing the ringer volume does nothing either.
