How to recover my car's bluetooth after "forget this device" was pushed on my iPhone X

I accidentally pushed "forget this device" and now I can't get my phone to connect to my car. When I go into pairing mode in my car (uses SYNC) it says that no device could be found. Is there any way I can fix this?

iPhone 6, iOS 11

Put the car into Pairing mode, and go to Settings/Bluetooth on the phone (within 30 seconds). You should see the car in the phone settings. You may be prompted to enter an authentication code.
