Can't switch languages in Launchpad Mac OS

I have two languages in my System settings, and they switch correctly (with Cmd+Space keys) in every software I use. The only place where languages do NOT switch is Mac OS Launchpad (the search field on the top of the screen). To change the input language I have to swap to another (any) application, switch the language with Cmd+Space, then swap back to Launchpad.

The problem persists since 2016, from the very beginning I bought and set up my laptop.

How can I fix it?

If I'm understanding your post correctly you're having an issue with changing language input using the Command-Space shortcut.

If the the issue is only happening in Launchpad, try testing the issue in safe mode and in a new user account based on how your Mac reacts by following these steps:
