Warning message keeps popping up about that I cannot charge my phone because the water was detected

Hello Ive recently fixed my screen at apple genius bar but when they fixed it they didnt mention about water resistance that once i open the screen i might lose the function. I dropped my phone into the basin and the warning message kept popping up about that i cannot charge my phone because the water was detected
