Access McAfee-protected files on a CD-ROM?

I need help, for which thanks in advance.

I have a MacBook Pro (late 2011) running El Capitan 10.11.6. (Why, one might ask. There is an answer but first to my question for today).

I have been sent several DVD-discs containing large video files, all made in a Windows environment and password-protected using McAfee software. I can't access anything on my Mac, I just see file names with suffixes like .exe and others (see screen shot).

Do I have an option to be able to run Windows on this Mac, so I can open the McAfee protection application and access the files? Or is there another way to get at the files?

MacBook Pro 15", OS X 10.11

Options:

a. Have the sender resend the files unprotected by McAfee or any other third party app.

b. Install Windows on your computer using Boot Camp Assistant or using a virtual machine like Fusion, Parallels, or VirtualBox. Macs can not run Windows executable .exe files natively.

c. Install McAfee

If chosing option b. do not install McAfee or any other third party antivirus app. Do not choose option c.
