I used to be able to print just about anything from my iPhone, but no longer can. The option to print doesn't even show up. The exception is Pages.
Specifically, I would like to be able to print PDF documents and photos (like when I take a photo of a recipe).

With iOS 13, the option was moved.
If you tap on the share icon, arrow coming out of a box, you should get a menu. The Print option should be in that menu, but in most cases is out of view. Swipe up to reveal more options.
You can edit that menu to move the Print option higher up if you need to by pressing the "Edit Actions" link at the bottom of the menu.
