How to "Gift" a song

I have 90.00 balance on my iTunes account and I'd like to use some of that to gift a song that I've already purchased to a friend, but iTunes tells me that I have to have a payment method on file. Can anyone advise?

You can't. Apple doesn't allow iTunes Store credit to be spent on gifts.
