I'm upgrading from the iPhone X, to the iPhone 11 Pro, and noticed the front facing camera looks significantly worse! My face looks very waxy, and with no detail. In lowlight my hair also has a green tint rather than the rich darker colors from my iPhone X.
Is this with anyone else? I'm on IOS 13.2 and turned off smart HDR.
If you are displeased with the photos, then make a Genius Bar appointment at the nearest Apple Store to have the iPhone checked. If you are within 14 days of the purchase and you made it at the Apple Store, you can return it no questions. Otherwise, Apple will examine the phone and explain your options.
Have you verified that you do not have any filters turned on? I have not noticed any problems with my front facing camera. What kind of lighting are you using with the shots?
Filters, are you referring to the colored filters? It's on the original. I'm also taking photos in medium lighting. In comparison to the iPhone 10, the photos looked significantly worse. I look more smoothed out.
