Need detailed instructions on setting up dual monitors to my 15" 2018 Macbook Pro

I need detailed instructions on setting up dual monitors to my 15" 2018 Macbook Pro for additional workspace. I'd like to be able to use the Macbook Pro while in a closed position while being able to use the two HDMI/VGA connected for workspace, any instruction would be appreciated.
