Vacation mode for home kit?

How do you set up home kit to turn lights on and off at different times while on vacation?

Scheduling lights in HomeKit I would like to schedule some lights to come on when anyone arrives home between 23:00 and 06:00 (already done this bit), BUT I want the lights to go off after 30 minutes or 1 hour. So when anyone comes in the lights come on to guide them through a space then turn off. is there a way to do this or is this feature on the drawing board for future updates?

Can I have multiple on and off times on lights? I want to turn lights on automatically a couple hours in the morning and a few hours in the evening.

There is no "add automation." So what is the correct answer to how to schedule lights? I added an outlet to my Apple HOme. I would like the light to turn on at specific times. I can't see any way to do that. The Apple help page gives instructions but they include a step that is just not there in the app, so what is the actual way to do it?

You could try setting up an automation for certain days and times ..

when I went away I set up several automations to have different lights come on and off at different times of the night
